"Horrible, the rise should not be considered medium. Especially considering I got 36 inseam. The stretch is also not great and it binds up a lot due to the poor rise design."

"Great dark slim jean, fabric stands out. Classic Vintage fabric has a different feel to regular denim, there's a subtle brushed texture to the dark wash that catches the light in an interesting way. Not shiny, just has more dimension than a flat dark jean. The slim fit through the hip and thigh is consistent and clean. Had them a month now and the shape hasn't changed after multiple washes which is always the real test."

"My new favorite pair. Been wearing the Jake cut for a while now and this Dark Used Brushed wash might be the best version yet. It's got that perfectly worn-in finish right out of the box. It isn't not too dark, not too faded, just right. Fits slim through the hip and thigh without feeling tight, and the stretch in the fabric makes it comfortable all day. Already thinking about ordering the mid wash too."

"The dark brushed finish is what got me. I've owned a few versions of the Jake over the years but this Dark Brushed Classic Vintage wash might be the best one yet. The brushed finish gives the dark denim a texture and depth you don't usually see at this price point, it looks aged and considered rather than just plain dark. Slim through the hip and thigh without any tightness, streamlined all the way to the leg opening. These are a cut above what I've tried from other brands in this category."
